Natural Gas
Natural gas is a gas consisting almost entirely of methane, which is produced inside the earth when biomass breaks down. It is the least emitting fossil fuel. The natural gas available in Finland can be used in electricity production and heating as such. Natural gas can also be further refined into liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG).
